The Panthers then got matched up with Class C-2 third-ranked GACC to play for first play at their home tournament. The Panthers came out strong, winning the first set 25-16. The second set the Panthers lost 16-25, but they came back for a huge win against GACC in the third set, winning 25-23. The Panthers now have a 11-5 record on their season.
Senior Reese Wietfield said “The home tournament was a great opportunity for our team to play some competitive teams. Our first two games really gave us a head start and allowed us to build the energy for our final game versus GACC. I was really happy with how our team played together and moved on after every mistake. It was an awesome 1st year for the Panther Tournament!”
