Hi everyone! Welcome to Ms. Fischer's webpage! I am extremely fortunate to be able to teach the awesome students at Leigh Community Schools each and every day! I graduated from Leigh High School in 2007 and attained my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Language Arts Education from Wayne State College in 2010. I earned my Master's Degree in Secondary Administration from Wayne State College in 2016. I teach Writing 7, Writing 8, Reading 8, English 10, English 12, Speech, and Journalism. I am the Head One-Act coach, journalism sponsor, Prom Sponsor, and Leigh Youth Advisory Committee sponsor. Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends. My husband, Cole, is the principal at Howells Dodge Consolidated Schools, and we have three young children: Kashmir, Collins, and Keylen. Our kiddos keep us on our toes and provide plenty of excitement and laughter! I am also very passionate about the Leigh community and enjoy being part of the Leigh Legacy Fund.
