New Staff Spotlight: Meet Mr. Reifenrath

Leigh Community Schools staff and students are thrilled to welcome our new staff member, Mr. Izac Reifenrath, who teaches Elementary math and a high school Lifetime Activities class. 

            Mr. Reifenrath started teaching at LCS this year, but he had two years of teaching experience at Laurel-Concord-Coleridge teaching 5th grade. 

            Mr. Reifenrath grew up in Laurel, Nebraska, and graduated from Laurel-Concord-Coleridge High School. He later graduated from Wayne State College where he earned his Bachelor's degree. He then moved to Creston this past summer. 

            Mr. Reifenrath’s hobbies outside of teaching include golfing, hanging out with friends and family, and playing or watching sports. Along with him enjoying sports, this year he will be serving as assistant boys’ varsity football coach and junior high boys’ basketball coach. 

            When Mr. Reifenrath was asked what he is most looking forward to this year, he said, “I am most looking forward to building new relationships with the students, staff, and community of Leigh.”

            We are excited to have Mr. Reifenrath join Leigh Community Schools this year, and we can’t wait to see what his addition will bring!
