Mr. Ethan Hathaway Leads New JAG Program
A new, but familiar face is walking the halls of the high school this year. The kids and staff are excited to welcome Mr. Ethan Hathaway as the newest member of the Leigh High School Staff member, as the new JAG Director.
JAG stands for Jobs for America’s Graduates, and it is a new program being implemented in many schools across Nebraska and paid for by the United Way.
This is Mr. Hathaway’s first year teaching. He graduated from Leigh Community schools in 2010. He later attended UNL and graduated with a degree in Advertising.
Previously, he lived in Omaha and worked at Medical Staffing. He has also worked at graphic design for a few years as well.
Mr. Hathaway now lives in Creston and is married to Angela Hathaway and has two boys: William, 5, and Winston, 1.
In his free time, you can see him working at the Rambler in Creston.
Mr. Hathaway is excited by his new position and enjoying his first full few weeks.
“I’m excited to be back at Leigh for my first year of teaching. I believe the JAG program will be a huge benefit to our students and community.”
Everyone is very excited to welcome Mr. Hathaway and we look forward to seeing what the upcoming year brings for our school!
