JH VB Starts Season 1-1
The junior high girls’ volleyball team has been quite busy as their first game was on September 2nd against Wisner.
All three teams played (A,B,C, and D).
Although all four teams lost, they learned so much and were ready for their next game. Player Ella Hansen said “For our first game of the season, we played very well together, we had fun, and even though we lost, we still learned a lot and look forward to more games to come.”
For their second game of the season, the girls played Madison at Clarkson on September 9 and picked up their first win!
Eighth-grader Began Settje stated, “While winning we all had fun, worked together and learned so much”.
The C team won 25-16 and 25-14, D won their set 25-14, B won 25-13 and 25-4, and A won 25-12 and 25-17.
