Patriots Reach 10-0!

On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Clarkson-Leigh volleyball girls headed to Pender to play. They remain undefeated after beating Pender in 3 sets, bringing their record to an impressive 10-0 to start the season!

Junior Ava Kasik said, “Although we didn't begin with a lot of energy, we were still able to end in a win and make a statement for our team.”

The JV won their game to start off the day.

The varsity girls then came ready to play taking the Pendragons down in 3 sets. They came out in the first set winning 25-19. The second set they came out even stronger winning 25-13. The Patriots wanted to end the night winning all three sets with the 3rd set being 25-18.

Baylee Settje, Izabel Hollatz, and Maizie Stoklasa all had 9 kills during the game to lead the team. Junior Kendall Schneider added 3 ace serves. Sophomore Ella Baumert led the team with 13 digs with Izzy contributing 10 digs.

Coach Rebecca Schneider said, “Pender was a great match! They definitely pushed us as they are much improved from last year! We do feel like it took us more time to settle in and play our style of game, but overall, we stuck to our game plan and we were able to finish with a sweep!”
