Hollatz and Settje Commit to Hawks Volleyball
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Wednesday, November 20, Leigh High School seniors Izabel Hollatz and Baylee Settje signed with the Northeast Community College Hawks to continue their academic and volleyball careers.
Baylee Settje said, “Signing day was a great way to wrap up my high school volleyball career! I am so excited to continue my athletic career to play volleyball at Northeast Community College! I am thankful for the opportunity that they have given me to pursue volleyball for the next two years. I also can't wait to continue to play with Izzy and see what we can accomplish together in volleyball for two more years.”
Hollatz agreed. “It was a successful day signing for Northeast, and I am so excited for this new adventure to continue my volleyball career for the next two years with Baylee! We have been playing together for so long, and I just can’t wait to continue our journey. This is such an amazing opportunity!” Hollatz said.
Hollatz and Settje were joined by both of their families. Along with their families, the 2024 volleyball team and coaching staff was present to support them
Patriot Head Coach, Becky Schneider stated, “We are ecstatic that Izzy and Baylee are continuing their volleyball careers beyond high school! It's one thing that they made the commitment, it's a whole other thing that they signed together to play at Northeast! How awesome is that? Northeast is getting a dynamic duo that have a lot of chemistry and a great connection on and off the court! They just complement each other so well because they have played together for so long! We cannot wait to see what they can do at the next level!”
