Next, the varsity came ready to play, beating the Knights in 3.
Brynn Settje, a senior at LHS said, “The game went really well for everyone. We had some great hits and great digs to win us the game. It was a great game for us to come back to after the loss we had last weekend, and to get things going again.”
The Patriots came out in the first set winning with the score being 25-18 with the second set ending 25-17. In the third set, the Patriots struggled to find their groove but eventually finished for the win with the set ending 26-24.

Head Coach Rebecca Schneider said, “The Bergan game was a really good match for us! We came out aggressive in the first set and continued to build on that throughout the match. They really pushed us in the third set to where we were chasing until late in the set, but we were able to keep attacking and find ways to get them out of system and finish! It was good for us to face adversity and hold our composure in order to finish!”
