JH VB Ends Season 10-2
On Monday, October 14, the Junior High Clarkson-Leigh Volleyball team played their final two games of the season in Stanton.
They played against Archangels Catholic and Stanton in a triangular. The A team won both games, ending their season with a 10-2 record
Eighth grader, Avery Kuester stated, “Going into our last JH game we knew we wanted to win. We played really well tonight and we worked together as a team. We only lost 2 games this season and our team as a whole improved from the first game to the last.”
JH VB Coach, Seth Cash said, “Overall, I thought our season went well. We saw real growth from each girl, and the team as a whole made leaps and bounds from beginning to end of the season. I was proud of how we finished our season winning the triangular in Stanton.
“This group of girls was enjoyable to watch and even more enjoyable to coach,” Cash continued. “I wish the 8th graders success in all the sports they choose to play as high schoolers next fall. Lastly, a huge thank you to two of the best coaches to coach alongside, Kim Heimann and KC Hegemann. They are a huge reason for the success the junior high volleyball program has.”
