C Team Volleyball Begins Season

The Patriot volleyball C-team fought hard against Madison and Stanton on Monday September 9th. Their first game was against Madison and it was the first of their season.  They started off with a win, 25-15 in the first set, and they won the second set 23-25.

The next game of the night was against Stanton.  This game didn’t end well, but the girls put up a great fight.  The first set was 17-25 in favor of the Mustangs, and the second set was a battle, ending 26-28 in a Patriot defeat.

“I think the girls played pretty well and learned a lot,” C Team Coach Mrs. Brianne Bachman stated. “They have already seen so much growth and I look forward to seeing more improvement as the season continues. Overall, they had a great night and start to their season.”

Freshman, Sadie Brabec, stated, “The Madison game was a fun game to play since it was our first game of the season and we won.  In the Stanton game, we had to figure some stuff out. Unfortunately, we did not win that game, but we do know what we need to work on in practice so that we will become better and better.”
