On the days of December 9th, 11th, and 13th, the boys’ basketball team kept busy with games, playing against Oakland Craig, Bancroft, and Battle Creek.

Starting off on December 9th, the boys played Oakland-Craig in Clarkson. The boys worked hard through the first half and were down 18-19. They fought during the second half and were able to surpass the Knights, beating them with a final score of 51-41.

On December 11th, the boys’ basketball team traveled to Bancroft to battle the Panthers, hoping for a win. The first half was tough, with the score being 25-33 at halftime. The boys knew they would need to work hard in the second half if they wanted a chance to come back, but they couldn’t get there in the end. The boys tried their hardest, but lost with a score of 44-71. Senior Kyle McMullin scored 24 points.

Finally, they traveled to Battle Creek on December 13th. The boys battled against the Braves and at halftime they were tied 21-21. The boys were unable to keep up with the Braves and, unfortunately, came up short with a final score of 44-48.

McMullin again led the team with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Eason Brabec added 14 points.
