Golfers Finish 2nd in Home Quad
Tuesday, April 8, marked the second Patriot boys’ golf event of the year: a quad at Leigh. Although the quad was originally scheduled to play at Pender’s Twin Creeks course, it was moved to Club 91, allowing the boys some extra practice on their home turf. On nine holes, the Patriots placed second overall with 207 strokes. As for individual scores, freshman Trevor Hoffman led the pack with a 42, also earning a second-place title, this time individually. Dexter Indra shot a 50, Parker Sayers a 53, Cash Fehringer a 62, and Josh Eisenmann a 71.
Golf coach Mr. Connor Blum stated, “It was a cold and windy day, but our golfers battled through the environments and ended up doing pretty well.”
“It was a lot of fun to go out and play on our home course and shoot well,” said Hoffman. “We did good as a team, placing second. Can’t wait to get to our upcoming invites.”
