Howells-Dodge Wrestling Invitational

On Saturday, December 7, the Patriot wrestling team had their first tournament of the season, heading to the Howells Dodge invitational. It was a great opportunity for competition early in the season.

Wrestling coach Ryan Molacek said, “The boys wrestled well against some tough competition, we’ll keep working to step up to the challenge.”

Junior Brett Wemhoff said, “It was a very good learning experience that we hope we can use to compete more down the stretch.”

Junior wrestler Levi Gall finished the day as champion going 4-0, all by pin.

Brett Wemhoff, another junior, went 1-2 with a fall by pin.  Freshman wrestler Hunter Gall finished the day 1-3 with a 6th place finish.  Aiden Jurgensen, another freshman wrestler, went 1-4 on the day with a 6th place finish.

The wrestling season is underway, and the Patriots will look to keep moving going forward.
