Cyclones Lose to NEN
The Cyclones’ schedule is filled with game after game every week. But the Cyclones finally got a break from traveling and had a home game in Dodge on the 19th of September against NEN.
The JV started the night. Unfortunately, they lost the game, but they did manage to keep it close the first few innings.
The Varsity kept it close as well the first few innings, but lost with an ending score of 5-13.
Junior Neveah Zulkoski, “We started off strong at the beginning of the game, but slowly fell apart throughout the game. We held a good battle against them not letting them get too big of a lead off. Overall, I think we will learn from our mistakes and we will see progress in the next game.”
Freshman Ariyah Ross, “We had a really good start, but we weren't able to keep going. They were a good team, and overall it was a really good game and we learned a lot.”
This loss brings the Cyclone record to 6-9 so far this season.
