Cyclones Compete at NEN
The Highway 91 Cyclone Softball Team traveled to Wisner to compete in NEN tournament on Saturday, August 31.
They competed against hard competitors in this tournament, and unfortunately fell short in all three games.
The first game they played was a tough battle against Pierce. The Cyclones lost 7-11 after beating them earlier in the week.
The second game they played was a tough match against Boone Central. The Cyclones lost 8-13.
Next up was Logan View. The Cyclones fell just short, losing 2-3.
Reann Bruhn, a sophomore on Cyclone softball team, gave an outlook on how the games went. She said, “While we didn't end with the outcome we were hoping for, we learned a lot throughout the day and gained a lot of experience as a team.”
The Cyclones are half way through the season, with a lot of games left to play. They will continue to battle the rest of the season.
