Launch the media gallery 1 playerKTCH Radio Quiz Bowl has come to a close, and the Leigh team has had another great year! After making the final 4, the Leigh team faced Scribner-Snyder in the semi-final round on February 20. After a battle of the brains, Leigh lost in overtime 4-3!
After losing in the semifinals, they got to compete on Monday, February 24 for the final time in the consolation match against Randolph. They won against Randolph 8-6 to clinch 3rd place out of 48 teams!
Creighton won the tournament and Scribner-Snyder finished 2nd.
The team members consisted of alternate Elizabeth Hoffman, captain Brianne Kuhr, Luke Eisenmann, and Brayden Loseke. The sponsor of quiz bowl is Mrs. Maddie Gall.
Brayden Loseke said, “Quiz bowl was very fun. The consolation match was a fun match and I'm glad we won.”
