Quiz Bowl Team Advances in Radio Competition
Quiz Bowl is BACK!
On January 23rd, the Leigh Quiz Bowl team took on O’Neill in the 48-team KTCH radio quiz bowl competition. This was already the second round of competition because Leigh had received a bye in the first round. They beat O’Neill 3-2 after five rounds to advance to the top 12!
Junior Brayden Loseke stated, “Quiz bowl was a fun opportunity to test our knowledge with other schools. We went against O'Neill and we were in sudden death for 3 rounds. This was definitely one of the more nerve-wracking rounds. This was our first match, and I hope we make it all the way to finals.”
Loseke was joined by Brianne Kuhr and Luke Eisenmann, who made up the team for Leigh.
Leigh now moves on to Round 3 against St. Edward. Be sure to tune in to KTCH 104.9 on February 5 at 10:30 a.m. for the matchup.
