Senior Spotlight 2023: Kyle Holmberg

On June 28, 2004, the Holmberg household was graced by the arrival of their second child, Kyle Frederick Holmberg.

Kyle is the son of Troy and Patricia Holmberg.  He has an older sister, Alicia, who graduated from LHS in 2021, as well as a dog, Addy.

Throughout high school Kyle has been involved in football for 4 years, basketball for 4 years, track for 3 years, One-Act for 3 years, National Honor Society for 3 years, Quiz Bowl for 3 years, and Youth Advisory Committee for 2 years.

Kyle says his biggest accomplishment and proudest high school moment was winning state in football this year.

His favorite class in school is chemistry. His favorite movie is Creed. His favorite team is the Green Bay Packers, which he watches while eating his favorite food, shrimp scampi. And his favorite song is “Man of the Year” by Juice WRLD.

Outside of school, Kyle enjoys hanging out with friends and playing sports.

On his bucket list are plans to visit Europe. He also plans on trying to learn how to skydive.

Kyle says the person he admires most in his life is his dad because of “his work ethic and sense of responsibility.”

Kyle’s future plans are to major in Biology at Wayne State College.

He says his most embarrassing moment is, “Falling at a track meet right at the finish line.”

His advice to underclassmen is, “Don’t stress about school too much. School is important, but so is your social life.”

We wish everything and more for you, Kyle!
