Leigh FBLA Celebrates First Year as Chapter

On April 17th, the Leigh FBLA had their first-ever FBLA end-of-the year banquet. Instead of having a meal, they decided on just having a snack and appetizer potluck. 

Kids brought cookies, pinwheels, Chex Mix, cheese dip with chips, and more to celebrate a great year with FBLA! 

Students and their families had about 15-30 minutes to eat and converse, then they got down to business. 

They discussed what the FBLA symbol meant using all of the members. They said who the “Member of the Month” was. September was Keeley Campbell, October was Ella Urban, and February was Alisyn Lich. 

They also announced the winners for State FBLA.  Brayden Loseke was crowned Champion in Cybersecurity and qualified for Nationals. He also earned 5th place in Management Information Systems. Brayden and Emily Stender earned 6th in Network Design and Emily is also going to Nationals. Emily earned 6th in Management Information Systems. She also earned 8th in Digital Animation.

Paige Kurpgeweit earned Who's Who and All-State Quality Member. She also earned 2 Business Achievement Awards - Contributor and Leader. 

Amaiya Ross earned 1 Business Achievement Award - Contributor. The chapter also earned Champion Chapter and will be recognized at Nationals. 

The students that lettered for the year are freshmen Madison Lich, Kaycee Lange, Vivian Bunner, and Ariyah Ross; sophomores Vylet Hollatz, Madilyn Freudenburg, Emersyn Urban, Ben Rodenburg, Ella Higby, Carmen Malena, and Cody Jedlicka; juniors Brayden Loseke and Sydney Messerlie; seniors, Amaiya Ross, Paige Kurpgeweit, Keeley Campbell, Baylee Settje, Brynn Settje, Izabel Hollatz, Alisyn Lich, Kammy Held, Ella Urban, and Emily Stender. 

They finally swore in the new leadership team for next year: Brayden Loseke, Kaycee Lange, and Vivian Bunner. They also swore in the new 2025-2026 President of FBLA, Brayden Loseke.
